Greetings 2011 Evansville Chamber Members!
Thank you for your continual support & participation in the Evansville Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism! Being a member of the Chamber provides you with additional resources for your business and helps support your growth and development. Here are just a few of the benefits the Chamber offers as you renew your membership in 2011:
- The Evansville Area Chamber has invested in advertising and promotional opportunities such as the Rock County Travel Guide, the Business Directory & Community Guide, & the new Shark Book (2011 Buy Local Coupon Book). We have a large network of businesses and customers we reach with our mailings, publications, hosted events and internet presence. Our Business & Community Guide now an expanded our promotional area to reach 3 regional airports, other Chamber offices, highway rest stops, and tourism sites in Milwaukee, Wisconsin Dells, Madison, Rockford & Eagle River.
- We support & inform members through weekly ENewsletters, special community events, quarterly newsletters, the Buy Local Chamber Bucks gift certificate program which helps keep money in Evansville, membership meetings, business education meetings, business referrals and new resident welcome bags.
- Our office receives calls from current residents, business owners and people looking to locate to the city. We promote Evansville as an ideal place to live, work and shop. As you know, Evansville remains a Choice Destination thru the Discover Wisconsin program from 2010- June 2012.
- The Chamber continues to promote tourism to our area in conjunction with ongoing tradeshows, brochure placement, and ongoing internet links to the Discover Wisconsin website. The Chamber Director is a part of the Economic Development Committee’s Tourism Subcommittee as well.
- Chamber Members also have the advantage of the Chamber Board actively working with local government leaders and City Council to represent and advocate for them on issues that directly impact the business community. The Chamber is actively involved with Rock County Economic Development and Thrive, an 8-county, Madison-based economic entity. The Chamber represents business interests at CEED quarterly and Economic Development Committee meetings monthly. The Chamber is also partnering with the City of Evansville to increase Economic Development opportunities in 2011. All memberships run January 1-December 31, 2011. If an individual business owner owns more than one business, please register each business separately.
